This summer we plan to tackle hunger here in our community, from the ground up, through the establishment of a first-ever community container garden in Darien – our Sunny Patch Project!

We will kick-off our Sunny Patch Project with a community planting event and documentary screening of the film – Food Patriots.

Our container planting will kick-off at 9:00 a.m. with the film screening to be around 11:00 a.m.

The planting event will only be for those who have secured a space in our project and intend to grow a container at our pilot patch over the summer.

If you’re not growing with us this summer, you can still catch the screening at 11:00 a.m. for a nominal donation of $5.00.
